Monofilament polyester weave. Same absolute rating and reusability as nylon mesh, in a medium better suited to acidic duty and with lower moisture pick-up.

Typical duties

Acidic process streams, defined cut points, solids recovery where nylon is unsuitable.

Chemical & service notes

Good acid resistance. Not for strong caustic.

Temperature

Up to 150 °C. The housing seal has its own limit — the lower of the two governs.
