A carbon-impregnated or carbon-filled bag that adsorbs dissolved organics rather than straining particles — it removes what a filter cannot, because the contaminant is in solution, not suspension.

Typical duties

Colour removal, odour and taste correction, chlorine reduction, trace organics, plating bath maintenance.

Specified per duty — adsorption capacity is finite and the bag is changed on breakthrough, not on differential pressure.

Temperature

Media dependent. The housing seal has its own limit — the lower of the two governs.
