Step 1 — Bag size

Every multi-bag and quick-open housing we sell takes Size 2. Pick another only if your housing needs it.

Step 2 — Media

What the bag is made of — decided by the fluid, the temperature and whether you want depth or an absolute cut point.

Step 3 — Micron rating

Start at the coarsest rating that meets the requirement. Going finer than you need shortens runs and costs more per bag.

Step 4 — Ring / collar

How the bag seats in the housing. Plastic where metal is not wanted in the product; steel for hot or aggressive duty.

Step 5 — Handles

Handles let an operator lift a heavy wet bag straight out without reaching into the basket.

Step 6 — Surface finish (felt only)

Singed is standard. Glazed releases cake more easily and sheds less fibre.

Step 7 — Pack size

Minimum order is a pack of 5. The per-bag rate improves sharply with volume.

Reading the part code

What the code means

Every bag we quote carries a code that fully describes it. Quote it back to us and there is no ambiguity about what you are reordering.
