Bag filter housings

Single bag to twelve, 6 to 480 m³/h, bolted or open-in-twenty-seconds. In 304, 316L or carbon steel.

Pick the closure, then the size

Every housing here does the same job — hold a bag and pass fluid through it. What separates them is how often you open it, how fast you need that to be, and whether the process can stop while you do.

How to choose

Three questions

1. How much flow?

Under 40 m³/h and a single bag will do it. Above that you are into multi-bag — and remember flow figures are clean water, so derate for viscosity and solids.

2. How often will you open it?

Once a month, a bolted cover is fine. Once a shift, the quick-open cover pays for itself in labour inside a year.

3. Can the process stop?

If not, it is duplex — two vessels and a changeover valve. Nothing else lets you change a bag without stopping.

Whatever you choose, the bag is the same. Every multi-bag and quick-open housing takes Size 2 — φ180 × 810 mm. See the ten media families →

Price on application

Housings are quoted to duty — vessel size, material, seal compound, internal finish, connections and any certification requirement all move the price. Give us the fluid and the flow and you get a firm number, plus the expected bag change interval so you can budget the consumable too. Request a quote →

Tell us the duty, not the part number

Flow rate, fluid, temperature, particle size and how often you want to change bags. We size the housing and the bag around that and quote the pair, delivered and commissioned.
