When nothing standard fits

Multi-stage lines, passivation and degreasing systems, and one-off tanks — stage count, chemistry, transport and footprint engineered around your part rather than around a catalogue.

Six- and seven-stage lines, enclosed washdown systems, and tanks built to a part nothing standard suits.

Why custom

Most jobs fit a standard machine. Some genuinely do not.

A standard tank assumes a basket, a bath and a part that fits both. The jobs that need a custom build are the ones that break one of those assumptions — a part too long for any catalogue tank, a chemistry sequence that needs six stages rather than three, a passivation step that cannot share a bath with degreasing, or a transport arrangement dictated by what the part weighs and how it has to be held.

A CM build starts from the part and the takt time and works outwards. Everything else — stage count, tank sizes, frequency per stage, filtration, drying method, how the load moves — follows from that.

The honest test. If a standard machine will do the job, we will tell you and sell you the standard machine. Custom costs more and takes longer, and it is only worth it when the part genuinely demands it.

SBF-C2

A six- and seven-tank passivation and degreasing line

Engineered in two configurations — six tanks and seven — for a defence-sector manufacturer, separating degreasing from passivation so neither contaminates the other, with dip and dry stations at the end of the sequence. Dimensioned general arrangements exist for both options.

CM-800

An enclosed industrial system for a meat plant

Racks, trays, saw components and smallgoods equipment cleaned to export-plant standard, in an enclosed system built for washdown duty and continuous shift work. The full study is written up with the process card and the results.

Also custom, within a range

Sometimes the answer is a standard machine, modified

Not every non-standard job needs a clean sheet. Four of our ranges have a custom route that starts from a proven platform and changes what needs changing — usually cheaper and faster than a full CM build.

Bring the part, not the specification

The fastest route to a costed custom build is to clean the actual part first and write down what worked. That becomes the process card, and the machine gets built to run it. We do that as a contract cleaning job before anything is engineered.
