Ultrasonic Cleaning for Road Marking & Transport Infrastructure

A line-marking rig is a paint machine that lives outdoors. Tips, guards, seats and gun filters block solid the moment a shift finishes late, and the standing answer has always been to bin them and open a new box.

Councils, state road authorities and contract line-markers all carry the same consumable bill. Cavitation takes cured paint out of a seat bore without anything touching the orifice — so the tip goes back on the gun instead of into the skip.

Chemistry

Matched to the soil and the substrate

Cured paint, thermoplastic and bitumen each need different chemistry, and the tip you are trying to save is usually carbide in a stainless carrier. The chemistry is matched to the coating and then checked against the substrate — confirmed on your own hardware before anyone quotes a machine.

What road authorities and line-markers ask us

Is a blocked tip worth recovering, or is it just scrap?
A tip is a carbide orifice in a metal carrier, and the carbide is not what blocks — the paint is. If the orifice is not worn, cleaning puts the tip back on the gun. Wear scraps a tip; paint does not.
Will it damage the orifice?
Cavitation removes what is sitting on a surface without cutting the surface. That is exactly why it suits carbide orifices, where anything mechanical changes the spray pattern permanently.
We run thermoplastic, not paint. Does that come off?
Yes, with the chemistry and temperature matched to the polymer. Thermoplastic is a harder job than waterborne paint and takes longer — which is what the trial is for.
Can this run at a depot rather than a workshop?
A bench unit sits in a depot store and runs off a standard outlet. Larger fleets put a workshop platform in and batch a week of hardware at a time.
