Model name is a name, not a volume: the number in MSX 30 is not the litres. Total solution volume is the whole fill, including the pockets that carry the resonators, heaters and platform. Working volume is the liquid to the fill line, 25 mm below the rim. Chemistry doses are worked on this figure. All specifications — incl. dimensions, ultrasonic power and volume — are confirmed at quotation.
The dual-frequency workhorse
This is the machine that ends the frequency compromise. The MSX 30 runs 650 watts through a dual 25/45 kHz system: the low band demolishes carbon, grease and heavy soils; the high band finishes fine passages, threads and delicate surfaces — both selectable at the panel, in one SS316 tank. Add load sensing, stepless power and a 490 mm basket taking 12 kg, and it is the best benchtop in its class — a statement we are happy to defend, basket for basket. It runs the same advanced G4-series industrial generator platform as our floor machines, is rated for continuous operation, locks its basket at drain position so drag-out returns to the bath, and carries the condensate-deflector lid. The machine we put in front of rebuild shops, armouries and serious workshops.
25 kHz demolishes. 45 kHz finishes.
Program the demolition pass for the carbon and the finishing pass for the fine work — one basket, one cycle, no compromise frequency. This is what separates the MSX 30 from every single-frequency tank at any price. The dual-frequency guide →

Workshops & Trade Parts
Twin-carb banks, cylinder-head-adjacent parts, batch trays — 25 kHz demolition on tap.
Firearms & Armouries
The 490 mm basket takes long slides and bolt carriers by the rack — the armoury machine.
Medical & Dental — volume
Hospital and CSSD-adjacent volume, dual-band gentle finishing.
Laboratories
Wash-up-room batches; 45 kHz band for delicate apparatus.
Recipes, not memory
Time, temperature and power in one screen — glove-friendly, splash-sealed.
One per part family. Operators pick, press, load — every basket runs the documented cycle.
Dial the intensity to the part, from delicate finishing to full demolition.
Delivered power held steady as load and temperature change through the shift.
Basket locks above the bath — drag-out drains back into the tank, not onto the bench.
1 kW pad heating, thermostat protected — chemistry at its activation window.
Approved chemistry
FX Degreaser
The daily bath for oils, grease and workshop soils — 5% in water, works from warm.
Product, SDS & TDS →Ferrous carbon & paintMetalTek 100
Grease, rust, scale, carbon and paint off steel and cast iron in one bath — the chemistry the 1.5 mm SS316 tank was built to hold. pH 14, so ferrous only.
Product, SDS & TDS →Precision & approvalsAquaVantage 815 GD
Aerospace-approved aqueous for new-manufacture and precision work; 815 QR-NF for MRO carbon.

What goes in the tank

MSX 30 basket
Three compartments, stainless mesh, folded rim. Ships with every MSX 30. Spares and second baskets to order — run one while the other loads.

Chemistry for this tank
Four questions — approval, soil, metal, machine — and the shortlist comes back with prices inc GST.
The handles hook over the tank lip, so the basket locks above the bath at drain position — drag-out drips back into the tank, not onto the bench.
