The entry point

One bag, four sizes, 6 to 40 m³/h

The single-bag housing is where most filtration duties start and a great many of them end. One vessel, one bag, a quick-opening top cover, and a footprint you can put almost anywhere. Where the solids load is modest or the flow is under 40 m³/h, a multi-bag housing is capacity you pay for and never use.

Design pressure 10 bar. Housing in SS304, SS316L or carbon steel. Seals in silicone, Viton, EPDM or PTFE. Connections flanged, NPT or BSP. Quick-opening top cover — rocker-arm or eye-bolt type depending on size. Flow figures are for clean water — derate for viscosity, fine ratings and solids loading.

Choosing the size

Bag size decides everything else

Size 2 — the default

0.5 m², up to 40 m³/h. The most stocked bag in the world, and the same bag every multi-bag housing takes. Start here unless there is a reason not to.

Size 1 — half the length

0.25 m², up to 20 m³/h. When headroom above the vessel is limited.

Sizes 3 and 4 — small bore

0.09 and 0.16 m². Low flow, tight spaces, sampling and polishing duties.

Standardise if you can. A site running Size 2 in both its single-bag and multi-bag housings holds one consumable line item. A site running four bag sizes holds four, and runs out of the one it needs.
Price on application

Housings are quoted to duty — vessel size, material, seal compound, internal finish, connections and any certification requirement all move the price. Give us the fluid and the flow and you get a firm number, plus the expected bag change interval so you can budget the consumable too. Request a quote →

Tell us the duty, not the part number

Flow rate, fluid, temperature, particle size and how often you want to change bags. We size the housing and the bag around that and quote the pair, delivered and commissioned.
