Ultrasonic welding · Enquiry

Send us the parts.

Ultrasonic welding is decided by your components, not by a machine specification. Tell us about them — and send photos — and you get an engineered answer.

Why we ask so much

A welder is not a catalogue purchase

Two companies can buy the same press and get completely different results, because the machine is the smallest variable. What decides success is the resin, the joint geometry, the sonotrode and the fixture — and three of those four depend entirely on your part.

So we would rather ask ten questions now than quote a machine that cannot do the job. If the honest answer is that ultrasonic welding is wrong for your part, you will hear that too.

The five that matter most
  1. Both materials — resin, grade, filler and regrind
  2. Photos of both halves, and a close-up of the joint
  3. What the weld must achieve — strength, seal, cosmetics
  4. Wall thickness at the joint
  5. Whether the mould tool is already cut

What happens next

  1. We review the parts and come back with questions or a recommendation — usually within a business day
  2. If the application looks right, we arrange a trial weld on your actual parts
  3. You get the welded samples back with the parameters recorded
  4. Only then do we quote the machine, the sonotrode and the fixture
Not ready to enquire? Read joint design and materials first — between them they answer most of what people ring us about, and they will tell you whether your part is a candidate at all.

Ultrasonic welding enquiry

The more of this you can answer, the more useful the first reply is. If you do not know something, leave it — but please do send photos.

Who you are

This is the section that decides whether we can help you.

What the weld has to do

Volume & timing

Photos and drawings

This is the most valuable thing you can send. Photos of both halves, a close-up of the joint area, and the assembly if there is anything inside. CAD or a 2D drawing if you have one. Accepts images, PDF and common CAD exports.

Files too large or commercially sensitive? Submit the form and reply to our email with them, or ask for an NDA first — we sign them routinely.

Anything else

We reply within one business day. Applications are engineered with our welding partner, so the answer comes back specified rather than estimated.
